LockpickingFull-game screenshot ↗

Lockpicking

Slide in the tension wrench and the pick, feel the resistance of the pins and open the chest before the tool snaps.

Simple lock: 3 pins, hints on.

How to play

Moving the mouse up and down guides the pick; the mouse wheel picks a pin. Hold the right button and move sideways to set the tension. Hold the left button and move the mouse up — when the pick reaches the pin with the right tension you hear a light “click” (and see a sign): let go at once, holding too long snaps the pick. In the simple lock each of the three pins wants a different tension — start low and go up. The mouse is captured automatically; Esc releases it, ✕ ends the attempt.

Arm wrestlingFull-game screenshot ↗

Arm wrestling

Elbow on the table, hand in hand. Keep the pressure and counter when your rival jerks.

Rival: a weaker tavern regular.

How to play

Hold the left button and drag the mouse left — that is how you push. The rival announces a grip: W (top roll) beats the hook, S (hook) beats the shoulder press, Space (press) beats the top roll. Answer before his grip lands. Releasing the button is a breather, but the rival pushes then. In a clinch, alternate A and D. In training you get 20% more time to react.

Coin flickingFull-game screenshot ↗

Tiddlywinks

Flick coins into the pit on the dirt floor — five a side.

Rival: a townswoman who plays by eye.

How to play

Click your coin, then click the pressing point on its rim and click again — the longer you wait, the stronger the flick. Aim for the pit. The right button returns to the top view.

BrawlingFull-game screenshot ↗

Brawling

First the plan, then the hand: pick an intent and carry it out with a mouse gesture — in a ring of onlookers in the courtyard.

Opponent: tipsy, with slower reflexes.

How to play

Each exchange has two parts. PLAN: watch your opponent's stance (it may be a bluff) and pick an intent with keys 1–5 before the bar reaches the line. HAND: carry it out with the mouse — jab: push the mouse away; body: an arc down and up; heavy: pull back, hold, push; block: hold the left button; dodge: jerk sideways. Click the scene to capture the mouse. If you go down, click in rhythm to get up.

Tavern diceFull-game screenshot ↗

Tavern dice

A cup, five dice and the innkeeper across the table. Roll, hold and count your hands.

The innkeeper plays fair.

How to play

Hold Shift and shake the dice in the cup with the mouse, release Shift to roll. Mark dice to reroll and roll again. The stronger hand wins; the match goes to two won rounds.
