Roadmap

At the top — what is new in the latest releases. Below — the plan: what is already in the game, what we are working on and where we are heading. Ordered by importance, not by release date.

Test release 0.4.5 is underway. Testers report problems straight from the game, and fixes usually land the same day.

Already in the gameState of test release 0.4.5.2, 1 November 2026.

A living world

Inhabitants work, trade and struggle with hunger, cold and illness — and cope in many ways, among others: they buy food for a day or two, eat when they are hungry, and people from distant workshops bring the cook fish or meat to prepare. An economy without gold from thin air.

Characters

7 classes available to players, 5 more unlocked through activities in the game, 3 races and an extensive, multi-level character creator.

Inhabitants who think like people

Inhabitants remember what you promised them, ask how the job is going and notice when you have been away for long, and the guard at the gate will tell you plainly whether the beast from the ravine is a match for you. Each inhabitant lives their own life, beyond a schedule defined only by their profession; craftspeople decide for themselves what to make and sell. Conversations are getting closer to real ones: ask “what’s new” or about a neighbour, and the inhabitant answers from what they actually know.

AI and the game

Conversations with inhabitants can be driven by built-in AI. An inhabitant answers in their own words, but only from what they actually know and remember in the game world — the game itself gives the AI their character, trade, news and memories. The AI also understands what you mean: a threat, an insult or a farewell triggers a real reaction in the game, and sentences the game does not understand on its own are turned into ordinary commands. You can also play by voice: turn on “Listen constantly”, and a sentence starting with “game” counts as a command — speech is recognised by Whisper running on your own computer. By voice you handle combat, the creator, dice, sleep, trade and the game windows, and you can talk with friends out loud. You switch AI on and off in the settings, and if it does not answer in time, the inhabitant speaks a line from the game.

Combat

Fights play out in rounds on a board. Your party stands in a formation of up to four rows — those at the front take the blows meant for those behind. Speed sets the order of moves, and allies with no enemy acting between them move at the same moment, so their spells can combine. Maybe you will combine your friend’s water spell with lightning? A soaked enemy takes double damage from lightning, and the discharge jumps to other wet foes. You aim at body parts — head, arms, wings or tail — because every opponent has its own weak points. Songs, stances, summons, ambushes and a retreat when the fight goes wrong; before you start, you see whether the enemy is a match for your party. Heroes and monsters fight as 3D models — with attacks, blocks, dodges and falls, and you hear every blow.

Game modes

Solo play, co-op with friends and online expeditions for up to four players — with a shared party awakening and PvP at camp. Set up your own server for up to 16 people right from the game and set the rules yourself: monster strength, experience and loot multipliers, PvP and death. Online servers run smoothly even with hundreds of players at once, and the full MMORPG mode is in production.

Art and sound

Over 1,000 illustrated panoramas — lands in four seasons, interiors, dungeons and tower floors — with weather. Around 3,000 game sounds, music for places and tavern songs. It all strikes one note: a dark Old Slavic mood, solemn music and the sense that the situation is hopeless.

Minigames

Lockpicking against pin stacks, arm wrestling, tiddlywinks, brawling and tavern dice. Wolf Pits rat races and rooster fights have animated replays with sound.

Items and crafting

Weapons and armour with special traits, single-use runes, gems enchanted into them and other upgrades — from a plain blade to ancient treasures. Everything wears out and eventually breaks — except uniques. 245 uniques circulate in the world, including the 95 pieces of 21 sets of ancient heroes; each exists as a single copy in the whole world. From what you gather and buy you make meals, potions and camp gear.

Power and guilds

Guilds have a register, influence and assemblies; the Crown has a council, decrees, debts and recruitment. Your influence on the world grows in three steps: contracts and support build your standing in a guild; the guild turns the strength of its people into pressure at court; and every two weeks the royal council — the king and twelve nobles — changes the decrees across the kingdom. Behind the scenes, intrigue plays out: bribes, denunciations, secrets and blackmail of councillors.

Intelligent mercenaries

Mercenaries have classes and gear, prepare for contracts, hunt and develop over time. They take party roles, heal companions and choose when to retreat. You hire them by the week, and after a risky fight they take their share of the loot.

Arena and league

In the arena you face other fighters of the world — players and mercenaries. The bookmaker rates your strength and places you in a league of equals, and the fight calendar decides when you step onto the sand. The league and the cup run for a whole season — one season of the year — and its end decides who becomes champion. Between fights you bet with the bookmaker, and with a ticket you watch every bout live from the stands.

Compatible with every device

Play on Windows and Linux, in a browser, on a phone and on a TV screen. On every platform you control the whole game by voice — easy and convenient, even on the go or when your hands are busy with something else. A console version is coming soon.

In progressWork is underway — some of it is almost done.

Full MMORPG mode

Two servers for all players with PvP enabled: the Capital — with permanent death, and the Kingdom — without it. The goal is thousands of players in one kingdom, and eventually many kingdoms. Load testing is still underway.

World mapalmost done

A game map painted for all four seasons: 7 biomes (more to come), 3 kinds of roads, rivers, bridges and impassable rocky peaks, and many kinds of towns, sites and places to visit and explore — such as caves and dungeons.

Swappable weapons in hand

The 3D hero model holds the weapon currently in your equipment.

Mods

Ready now: mods with their own images and sounds, and the Forge, where you create monsters, loot and biomes. We also plan to let you modify game mechanics and add your own.

Story and multiple endings

The story of the summoned, five paths and season finales.

Endgame

At the top begins the struggle for influence, clashes between kingdoms, intrigue, arena championships and the rivalry for unique items. Levels stop at 50 for now, but one day the cap may be lifted entirely.

Fifty dungeons

Up to 50 dungeons with their own bosses across the world — expanding the existing dungeon system. The world stays even; the difficulty rises in the dungeons. And that is not all the land hides: caves, barrows, catacombs, ruins, collapsed towers, a haunted castle and many more places.

PlannedDirections, not deadlines.

Your own worlds and scenarios

A world and story builder and your own scenarios — and play like at a D&D table: one player runs the adventure as game master, the rest take on the roles of the party.

Seasons

A different world, a different mystery and a different ending. Whoever closes the story first ends the world for everyone.

Three kingdoms and the wildlands

A continent divided between three kingdoms with no man's land between them. Ice at the edges, and an ocean that loops from east to west. The first step — the whole continent on the map — comes in version 0.5.

The Blight

A corruption that grows and spreads into neighbouring lands. Cleansed, it recedes — but never vanishes entirely.

A world that can fall

Murder and a neglected Blight can bring the world to ruin — through players' deeds, not a slider.

Large parties and war

Expeditions of up to eight players for the hardest dungeons and for war.

New races

More races will come over time — we will reveal them gradually, each with its own origin. Revealed so far: halfling, half-orc and rusałka.

The sea

Sailing, maritime trade and whatever the deep keeps.
